Hi Everyone -Lisa Orwig and Sharon Varner are hosting this year: 2011

It's that time of year again, for Womyn's Weekend 2011 - This year's Womyn's Weekend will be the weekend of October 7th & 8th at the Shooting Star Ranch in Red Oak where we held it last year. The cost is $50 per womyn and $25 per young girl. This includes your food and art/project materials. We promise a weekend full of projects, workshops, great food, and relaxing in the beautiful woods with wonderful womyn. 
Please RSVP as soon as possible, so we can get an idea of how many women we will have this year. If you can, I would appreciate it if you could pay in advance since a handful of us are putting up a large deposit to make the weekend happen. Additionally, we would like to ask that each of you invite someone to attend, so we can expand our circle of womyn this year. If I have left anyone off the list of womyn who usually come, or if I have an incorrect email address please let me know. 
We will be sending more detailed information in the coming weeks. If you are interested in doing a workshop or other project, please let me know as soon as possible, so we can get you into the weekend's agenda.

For those who like to sleep in the outdoors, You are welcome to bring your tents, there is plenty of land for this.

The Sloan House (Big House)
The Sloan House is completely remodeled. It sleeps 14 and has a large living room (23" x 28') with beautiful birch hardwood floors and a brick fireplace that runs the length of the room. Three skylights and a wall of windows make this room bright and airy, ideal for yoga classes, board meetings                                           ideal                                                                            or receptions. The patio, accessible directly off the living room, also runs the length of the house and looks out on the woods. A large kitchen with granite counter tops joins the living room, with space at the bar for six stools, ideal for cooking demos. The breakfast nook has a square table and seats eight. There is a full bath with tub/shower and a half bath. Each of the two bedrooms have five single beds and a table when needed as a breakout room. Two loveseats in the living room are single beds.  Two chairs make into single beds.i
